B. Everett Jordan Lake

Bass show outstanding growth rates and many are amazingly fat. An average Jordan largemouth can weigh over six pounds. The lake record stands at 14 pounds 6 ounces. Nice crappie, hybrid stripers and catfish.

John H. Kerr Reservoir - East

The largemouth bass population bas been increasing since the 80's. While its not trophy water, the lake is loaded with two to four pounders. Kerr is one of the few reservoirs in the country with a healthy, naturally reproducing striped bass fishery. Crappie average over a pound and there are three pound trophies in this water.
